Patient call devices are ideal for those in the healthcare sector. They protect staff and patients from Covid-19 and enable patients to wait safely away from the busy areas. This helps patients comply with social distancing regulations.

How does the hospital patient call system and dental patient call system work?

The waiting room patient call system starts with the patient receiving a unit on check in, this unit has a hospital patient call button on it. The hospital patient call system is then set up and the patient has everything they need to move to a safe, socially distanced area to wait for their appointment. The next patient that walks in will also become part of the wireless patient call system and will be given a unit with a call button.

When it’s time for the patient’s appointment, the healthcare worker will click the patient call button and the patient’s unit delivers a series of beeps and vibrations, alerting the patient it’s time to return for their appointment. The useful wireless patient call system enables patients to roam while they’re waiting, so congestion in waiting rooms is completely avoided.
