We make and supply a wide range of Trawl designs for the commercial fishing sector specialising in Deep Water Sector Trawls. Our Whitby Boltrope Trawl version Mk 5 is currently being fished successfully by Skipper John Musgrave aboard the UK Fisheries Vessel MFV Farnella H135. Other examples of our successful trawls are the Whitby Rock Hopper Trawl (made in 60ft to 90ft versions) and the Whitby Bottom Trawl all complete with Rigs to suit.

About Us
"Following my short career at sea which was ended by an accident ashore, I was determined to continue in the Fishing Industry, my Grandfather, Jim Leadley MBE, my Father, “young” Jim Leadley, Skipper of the MFV Kristanjo WY211 and my Uncle, Pete Leadley, skipper of the MFV Success WY212, encouraged me in the art of Trawl Design and Making, Gear Rigging, Chandlery and Gear supply.
Here at Caedmon Nets, being a family business, we have very high standards and we pride our success on the bespoke service provided to all our clients in the UK, EU and World Wide, producing a competitively priced quality product, with high standard of workmanship providing product durability with our first class supply and a delivery service second to none.
All our Staff have worked within the fishing industry bringing a combined wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects, having fishing backgrounds with extensive knowledge and skipper/crew experience so understand the working of the gear and the principles of the catch from Ground Gear to Cod End.
