DuPont Alesta® powder coatings are formulated to meet all the decorative and performance demands required by modern architectural exterior and interior design. Available in a wide range of RAL and BS colours, shades, effects and textures, Alesta powder coatings create design freedom without compromising strong functional properties such as weathering and impact resistance. Easy and efficient to apply, Alesta powder coatings are also ecologically friendly and come with a 25 year guarantee.

The Powder Coatings division of DuPont manufactures in 14 countries and has a significant world presence. UK powder production is from the modern facility in Darlington, a successful and established business with a local market share of 20%.

Alesta® Powder Coatings are available in three main resin systems, epoxy, epoxy polyester and polyester and new developments include flexible post-formable products, coatings for coil and blanking line applications, thin film high efficiency powders, faster and lower curing types, and a new generation of formulations for heat sensitive substrates.  There is also a specialty anti-microbial range that is ideal for applications where cleanliness is critical e.g. hospitals, food preparation areas etc.

Powder is a versatile coating used on a diverse range of items, including domestic appliances, aluminium extrusions, automotive components, toys, furniture, shop fittings, switch gear, lighting, packaging and building components.
