BS is a British Standard Colour and RAL is a European Colour Standard. There are approximately 200 colours that are available as a fan deck, booklet or chart. Oxley Garage Doors has picked the most popular colours and has named them as its trend colour range.

An Up and Over garage door is a one-piece door available in many different designs, materials and colours. It is available in two different mechanisms one being a canopy and the other being retractable. Both mechanisms travel up and over into your garage. The canopy type protrudes out a third of the doors' height whereas the retractable retracts fully into the garage.

Secured By Design or SBD is the official UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of designing out crime by use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a wide range of products. Only products which have been tested and meet the required technical standard can be awarded the Police Preferred Specification. Research has indicated that Secured By Design usage can reduce burglary by up to 50% and criminal damage by 25%.

Secured By Design is a brand. Whenever Secured By Design is referenced, it is associated with a specific manufacturers product that holds the Police Preferred Specification status.
