Lignotrend room acoustics panels are designed to reduce reverberation and echo from within a room so that speech is much clearer and more intelligible. These Lignotrend panels are ready to install on ceilings or walls and they look very contemporary with their timber slatted surface and wood fibre absorption backing. They are a totally natural product and are 'natureplus' certified.

Large community or school halls, sports centres, open-plan offices and many other large spaces with hard surfaces tend to be very noisy as the noises bounce all over the place.  If the Lignotrend panels are carefully placed they will absorb much of this noise so that background noise will be consideraby reduced.  It is also so much easier to hear what another person is saying.

Good room acoustics create a much calmer and more relaxed atmosphere. It improves learning ability in an educational facility and it greatly enhances watching a sporting event. It is conducive to a much more productive working environment.

Pavatex Wood Fibre thermal insulation is suitable for insulating roofs, walls (both internally and externally), floors and ceilings. These breathable products provide excellent thermal resistance as well as allowing water vapour to pass through effectively (vapour diffusion factor μ = 5), thus avoiding any risk of condensation, mould or humidity in the building. Their very high Specific Heat Capacity of 2100 J/kgK, coupled with their high density, means that the wood fibre insulation stores heat and re-distributes it as the room cools at night-time. This is also very effective in the warmer summer months.

The soundproofing board, PhoneStar, significantly reduces both airborne and impact sound through walls, floors and ceilings. The easy to fit boards are only 15mm thick and are CE marked. When PhoneStar board is laid over a standard timber joist floor, the floor has been tested to provide 59dB (Rw) of Airborne Sound Insulation and 56dB (Ln,w) of Impact Sound Insulation.  They are ideal for noisy neighbour problems as well as for use in commercial buildings. PhoneStar also has excellent thermal mass properties, so is ideal to use with underfloor heating. PhoneStar is breathable or vapour-open and pollutant free.

Acara Concepts also distributes the Lignotrend range of acoustic absorption and reverberation boards. These are quality products made from silver fir or oak timber with a wood fibre backing as the absorption layer. The specially engineered structure is excellent at absorbing sound so that speech recognition is improved and noise levels are reduced within a room. These finished boards are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing and offer a very contemporary look.
