About us

AFI-Uplift, part of the AFI Group of companies, is one of the UK's leading Powered Access Hire companies. Having built a strong reputation in the market, we have provided machines for high profile projects such as the London 2012 Olympics, Goodwood Festival of Speed and for landmarks such as London Bridge and the O2 Arena.

We offer a safe, reliable and cost-effective way of working at height with first class service and delivery. Our powered access fleet is extremely well maintained, which helps avoid delays to your job. Our versatile MEWP fleet, with working heights from 3.60m to 58.56m, makes the most awkward jobs simple.

We have 30 locations in the UK and a fleet of more than 7,500 machines, including:

Our experienced team will help you find the right machine to hire for the job. All our team members are trained by the Institute of Customer Service to ensure that the service you receive from us is first class.

We provide professional advice and support during every step of your hire, from site surveys, placing your order, keeping you updated on delivery through to off-hire and collection. We can also provide advice on damage waiver options, training and the supply of safety equipment to help you comply with Work at Height Regulations.
