With a powder coated steel frame, and four swivel wheeled castors (two plain, plus two braked for safety), this shower chair is built to comply to British Standards BS:EN12181:1999.

The seat is made of moulded plastic and is curved for maximum comfort, with water drainage holes throughout. The shower chair has integral arms, which increase the sense of security for a patient, and provide a stable seated area for washing; these drop down for added flexibility and ease of use. The glideabout or mobile shower chairs have four swivel castors, two of which have brakes, providing safe and simple manoeuvrability for the patient and carer. 
 
Shower chair specifications:
Agecare Eastern’s standard mobile shower chairs have a maximum user weight of 160kg or 25st and can be ordered online. If required we can also provide stationary shower chairs with adjustable height settings and slip resistant rubber ferrules, bariatric and extra wide shower chairs, as well as a wide range of refurbished chairs.
