From a small start in 2005, the company now takes wood from large tracts of the county’s woods – including areas managed by Lancashire County Council (LCC), Natural England (NE), the Forestry Commission (FC) and private estates – and turns it into top quality wood fuel. As an accredited processor of trees carrying diseases such as Phytophthora ramorum, our biosecurity measures ensure no further spread from infected trees. The benefits of managing these areas of woodland, replanting and contributing to carbon capture go alongside considerably lower fuel costs for users who currently include schools, horticultural businesses, housing developments, large country houses and higher education establishments.
