About us

CMA Machine Tools UK specialises in CNC drilling and tapping machinery, recognised worldwide with our UK headquarters located in the North West of England. Our advanced system, pioneered by CMA, allows precise movement of the drilling machine head across three axes: X, Y, and Z.

Our primary focus is on providing high-quality, custom CNC drilling and tapping machines known for their flexibility and exceptional workforce efficiency. Additionally, our CNC drilling machines support continuous production, minimising downtime and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Our design allows operators to safely load and unload one side of the machine while the spindle remains active. This feature ensures a smooth workflow, enabling simultaneous material handling on one side while processing occurs on the other.

Our Machines Include:

TAPPING
CMA Machine Tools has developed a stable and precise triple articulated tapping machine, with the possibility to include an adjustable 360° tapping head.

FIXTURE DESIGN
We provide our customers with a comprehensive design service, from fixture concept to manufacturable detailed drawings, leveraging our extensive expertise in jig and tool design and stress analysis capabilities.

DRILLING
Our CMA 3RD-CNC drilling centre represents the latest evolution of our successful predecessor models, in use daily across all continents worldwide.

Our in-house crafted CNC drilling and tapping machines are meticulously manufactured. Custom-built to exact specifications, these machines are designed to optimise efficiency and lower production costs for our valued customers.

These custom machine tools feature bed working sizes spanning from 3 meters to 25 meters in length and 0.8 meters to 3 meters in width. This wide range allows for the processing of various parts typically found in any manufacturing setting.

Our machines are designed with a torque capacity of 500Nm and spindle speeds reaching up to 6000RPM, emphasising flexibility as a crucial feature. This outstanding capability ensures our CNC drilling and tapping machines can easily adapt to diverse manufacturing needs, highlighting their versatility.
