40ft Shipping Container

Our 40ft shipping Containers are manufactured using high quality Corten steel, which is corrosion resistant and designed to stand up to the harsh rigours of sea conditions. Heavy duty corrosion resistant steel makes these units cargo worthy for as long as possible. On top of this, the containers are also painted to protect the steel as much as possible and extend the containers lifespan.

They are structurally sound, wind and watertight and have good quality door seals to provide an ideal storage environment.

About us

The Dainton Group opened its first depot in 1980 and now has 15 locations throughout the South West of England and South Wales offering Self Storage, Portable Buildings & Shipping Containers and Business Services.

History
In 1971, David Maddicott founded Dainton Excavators, supplying heavy machinery to the building trade across Devon and the South West.

Our business has grown and adapted to meet the changing needs of our customers. In 1985, we began supplying shipping containers and portable buildings, and in 2003, we opened our first self-storage facility in Heathfield, Devon.

Present Day
As of today, we own and operate 15 self-storage facilities and 7 business parks in the South West of England and South Wales.
Even as we continue to grow, we remain committed to being a family run, customer-focused, and community business. Exceptional customer service, best value, and trust are the cornerstones of our reputation.

Our goal is to anticipate changing customer needs and provide services that make us stand out from the competition.

Our Offering:

Self Storage
There are a number of convenient locations where we offer secure self storage. For house moves, growing businesses, and more, we offer a variety of storage options, from drive-up containers to indoor lock-ups (site dependent).
All our depots stock a range of essential packing and storage supplies.

Portable Buildings
A wide range of portable buildings, shipping containers, and canteens are available from us across the UK for purchase, sale, and hire.

Throughout the South West of England and South Wales, our experienced team is located across a variety of locations.

Business Services
We have staff on site 7 days a week at all of our sites. Our presence on site allows us to accept courier deliveries and provide further assistance as needed.
We also offer office and industrial unit rentals at a number of sites.

Dainton Portable Buildings

This is the second container our charity has bought from Dainton. The last one has lasted us really well, so with the best price around we recently purchased a new one. Staff at the office were helpful and the service was brilliant. Delivery time was quick and they took our old container away.
