Damages and losses during removal and storage.EDIT 18 January 2024. Daniel Adams Removals (Razwan Hussain), has been ordered by The County Court to pay me £919.90 which includes costs.EDIT 11 December 2023: Daniel Adams Removals did not respond to the Court. I have requested a CCJ (County Court Judgement).EDIT 29 October 2023: I have not had a response to my Letter Before Action and accordingly have today commenced proceedings in the Small Claims Court.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Daniel Adams Removals caused £834 worth of damages and losses during the removals and storage process in September 2023. My emails have been ignored. I have sent a formal Letter Before Action and given 14 days notice that I plan to issue proceedings against them in the County Court if I do not receive compensation. I will update this review if there are any significant developments.Date of experience: 15 September 2023
I have had to take DA Removals to court for poor service and loss of items plus sending a 3.5 tonne van when I had requested a 7.5 ton van. They took the money for the 7.5 and have not refunded the difference to date, approx. £500. They also damaged garden plants and have lost/not bothered to deliver items, because they sent a 3.5 instead of a 7.5. However, I am now in a long drawn out process through the County Court where a CCJ has been granted against them and there has been no contact from the owner, Mr R Hussain, except to threaten me via email for defamation. He also stated that he has video evidence of 2x 3.5 tonne vehicles leaving his premises, to complete my removal. I would laugh but it really is not funny.
