DRH Sheet Metal Co have been producing high specification & high quality steel radiator guards and pipe casings at our manufacturing plants in East Sussex for over 32 years. We therefore have an in-depth knowledge of the subject and relevant safety requirements.
Through these many years of experience, our expertise has resulted in the development of our range of Low Surface Temperature Safety Radiators and Pipe Guards - all of which are built to the very highest of specifications and quality.
DRH's guards are made from 1.5mm mild steel giving full protection from the top, front and sides. Because of our unique designs, radiator efficiency is only marginally reduced, making D.R.H Sheet Metal Co's one of the most efficient guards available on the market place today.
All Our Guards are Tested: Our high specification guards were first tested by BSRIA in 1978, the report found that our guards conformed to BS 3528: 1977 regulations, i.e. (Flow Temperature 90 deg C, Maximum Surface Temperature 43 deg C).
All DRH's radiator guards were re-tested in 2002 by BSRIA whereby it was confirmed that our guards conformed to the latest regulations BS EN 442:1997, i.e. (Flow Temperature 80 deg C, Maximum Surface Temperature 43 deg C).
Square Hole Mesh High Spec Radiator Guards are 93% heat efficient. Hottest Point Of Radiator Guard, Surface Temp square mesh 38.5 deg C
Round Hole Mesh High Spec Radiator Guards are 91% heat efficient. Hottest Point Of Radiator Guard, Surface Temp round hole mesh 42 deg C
Slotted Hole High Spec Radiator Guards are 97.5% heat efficient. Hottest Point Of Radiator Guard, Surface Temp slotted holes 37.5 deg C.

DRH will continue to improve the design of all its products and to conform to any future changes within the British Standard Regulations.
All DRH's radiator guards are supplied, as complete units including all fixings with no special site assembly required. Fixings can be tailored to customer requirements of easy access or total security and are available in our standard white polyester powder coat enameled paint. To help complement decorative styles and interior design any British Standard paint colour can be used.
