Established in 2004, the Escape Mobility Company was formed to meet the requirements of the emergency evacuation industry, supplying a wide range of evacuation chairs, evacuation mattresses and fire safety equipment as well as provide training on our evacuation products and maintenance and servicing of evacuation chairs.

The Escape Mobility Evacuation Chair - The Escape-Chair® - is classified within the EU as a ‘medical device’ and therefore must conform to the provisions of the Medical Devices Directive, 93/42/EEC (2002) which requires all such devices to carry the CE mark.
All of our Escape-Chair® and Escape-Mattress® range of escape and evacuation products are produced in Europe, with main supply from Germany and The Netherlands. All of our evacuation equipment is produced to ISO 9001 standard and is tested to TÜV certification.
Where we provide an additional benefit to our clients is that Escape Mobility provides training in the use of each evacuation product, so that we can help you, as the responsible person, to ensure that staff are trained and have the confidence to evacuate a person efficiently using evacuation chairs and evacuation mattresses.

Escape Mobility doesn't just sell chairs, they will talk to you, understand the type of building you have and then help you decide on the equipment you need for a safe evacuation, They trained NHS people in how to use the equipment. Staff on the training were worried about whether they were strong enough to help people in an evacuation, but after the training, felt confident.
