About us

UK specialists of emergency evacuation chairs, Evacusafe UK Ltd are at the forefront of industry manufacturing and supplying a range of safety evacuation solutions such as Excel evacuation chairs, Evacuslider rescue sheets and Evacuaid Evacuation Bracelet.

In addition we also provide patient transportation chairs for use in hospitals, ambulances and healthcare establishment’s, infact any place where a patient transit chair is required.

As a leading manufacture, all Evacusafe Products are manufactured to a high standard and are CE certified allowing businesses and organisations to be fully compliant with current Health and Safety Legislation and the Equalities Act.

Fire Safety Evacuation Chairs
The evacuation chair is designed for ease of use for the user. When the situation demands, a single person can deploy the tracked evacuation chair on the stair way and maneuver the chair and patient safely to the ground level. The smooth and controlled descent ensures the patient and the user a risk free and safe journey to escape the building when lifts are not in use reducing manual handling and the need for heavy lifting.

Evacusafe has a range of evacuation chairs and devices including:

Standard fire evacuation chairs
Excel fire evacuation chars
Folding 4 wheel transit chairs
2 wheel transit chairs

The lightweight evacuation chair weighing in at 12.5Kg folds to just 150mm and can be attached to a nearby wall to your fire exits and fire escapes.

Transit Chairs & Ambulance Chairs
The transit chair is designed to primarily transport persons across a flat level surface. Used both by hospitals and ambulance services the patient transit chair can also be used to carry patients up and down the stairs, however this will physical strength and would need to be carried out by 2, 3 or 4 people dependant on the person his needs moving. Due to lifting and manual handling involved it is recommended that a full risk assessment and PEEP should be carried out. The transit chair has a lift capacity of up to 120Kg.

Evacuslider Rescue-Sled
The Evacuslider is a modern version of the resuce sheets used in hospitals and care homes designed to allow the patient to slide across safely in the event of an emergency such as a fire evacuation. Unlike older designs of rescue sheets the Evacuslider is easily to deploy. Made from a thick foam mattress (80mm thick) you can be rest assured the patient is comfortable when be transported. The cost effective Evacuslider is a valuable piece of patient evacuation equipment overcoming difficulties in emergency evacuations due to the restricted width of narrow corridors, staircases and fire escapes. The Evacuslider has built in carry handles, support strap and large foot pocket ensuring that the patient can be carried horizontally as well as safely down staircases.

Evacuaid Emergency Evacuation Bracelet
Evacusafe are the world’s first manufacturers of intelligent emergency evacuation bracelets . The Evacuaid bracelet is the most intuitive personal alert system suitable for professionals in industry, lone workers, emergency services, miners, underground workers, subway operatives and any employees responsible for the safety of others. The low cost evacuation bracelet can also be used as a standalone system that provides an enhanced personal safety device at home or when travelling.
