About us

The Forbes Group are dedicated to the design and manufacture of tanks, vessels, scrubbers, degassers and other chemical plant in thermoplastics and glass fibre reinforced materials.

In 1994, Forbes were the first company in their field to achieve accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001: in formal recognition of their long established quality systems. We are now accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

Fabrications are to the highest specifications as stated in industry standards such as BS4994:1987, BS EN 12573 and DVS 2205.

The Forbes Group head office, design and administration offices are located in a purpose built sales & design office located in Crimplesham, Norfolk. The manufacturing sites – totalling over 20,000 m2 are located in Kelso, Scotland. There are now five purpose built factories, four of which are dedicated to plastics manufacture, the fifth being used solely for fabrication of metal accessories, such as ladders and walkways
