About us

G. English Electronics Ltd (GELEC) is very much a global supplier, delivering parts to production plants worldwide. To support our increasing international customer base, we also have an office in Shenzhen, China and warehousing in Hong Kong, this enables us to address urgent issues and avoid time difference delays. We supply to a broad spectrum, of industries including: medical, consumer, industrial and automotive to name but a few. The company was formed in 1975 and was originally known for Passive Components, however our range has expanded and now includes: custom plastic mouldings, silicone rubber and polyester membrane keypads, bespoke production of metal fabrications, Sunon fans, loudspeakers, relays, wound components, cable assemblies, batteries and more. We work with our customers from design concept to full production and also offer a UK prototyping service at our headquarters in London, providing engineers and designers with robust, functional models and enabling fewer design changes, better product designs, lower production costs and a shorter timescale to get the final product to market. Models are made with a new type of material called ABS plus and can be produced in 9 different colours.
