Flat bed belt conveyors are an ideal way to keep products under control when a smooth continuous flow is needed due to their ability to handle all sizes and shapes. Generally the sections are either slider bed, roller bed or troughed bed depending on your application.
Choosing the right type of belt is a very important factor when designing your conveyor system and there a few things that have to be taken into consideration; the environment in which it is to be situated, the temperature of the surrounding area (does it need to go through any freezing or heat process), the speed needed to run (fixed or variable), the size and weight of your product just to name a few.
