From small beginnings the company has grown unrecognisably from when it opened its doors on Thursday 5th April 1979. At that point, there began a non-stop programme of improvements. A journey which has still not been fully completed.
A major redevelopment at the original site on Darkley Road began in December 2004 and was completed just seven months later, with the unveiling of a modern state-of-the-art facility , fully fitted with the most up-to-date shelving and racking and the very latest in communication and point of sale technology with Online ordering and rigid stock control being key elements. A new Service Centre was also incorporated to facilitate the servicing and mainatence of the various equipment and machinery ranges.
Over the years, each product brand that has been added to our portfolio has been carefully selected and the key criteria in every instance is based on quality, value for money and an original equipment pedigree and this runs through our inventory of over 200,000 part numbers across more than 60 blue chip brands.
