• Magnetrol® announces the Thermatel® TA2 thermal mass flow meter with foundation fieldbus™ digital communications

  Magnetrol® is pleased to announce the sales release of the Thermatel® TA2 thermal mass flow meter with FOUNDATION fieldbus™ digital output communications. This addition signifies the growth of the TA2 and the MAGNETROL commitment to continued success in flow. The TA2 with FOUNDATION fieldbus™ offers all of the advantages of the standard TA2, such as:

• Miniature thermometer for sterile processes gets Ex approvals

  The TR21 miniature resistance thermometer from WIKA is currently the only instrument on the market that combines a housing of only 19 mm diameter with explosion protection. The measuring instrument, developed for sanitary applications, has now obtained ATEX and IECEx approval for the ignition protection type Ex i.

• Pressure transmitter A-10 now also in block design

  The A-10 pressure transmitter is now also available in a block design. This particularly robust variant of the all-round instrument is especially suited to shipbuilding applications.

• Hamamatsu introduces smaller Optical NanoGauge system for film thickness measurement during manufacturing

  Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. has developed a new film thickness measurement system, the Optical NanoGauge C13027, which offers easier integration into inline manufacturing equipment thanks to its reduced size and compatibility with automation controllers.

• New Photo IC with Near Human Eye Response

  Hamamatsu Photonics introduces a new Photo IC diode, the S11154-201CT, with spectral response characteristics designed to closely match that of the human eye. This chip is designed for use as an energy saving sensor within large screen televisions, for example, and other general types of light level measurement.
