Jasun Filtration was formed on the 1st of August 1972 in London by Mr. TW and Mrs. B Foot, and incorporated as a Ltd Company on 25th October 1972. Following a successful first two year period the business had grown and the company moved to East Grinstead, West Sussex. This move was followed again in 1976 by a further one to Billingshurst, West Sussex to a modern purpose built factory.
By 1987 the company had grown to the point where greater expansion was necessary and, after careful consideration, Jasun moved to Bridgwater, Somerset. In 1991 Jasun Filtration doubled the size of their premises and took over an adajacent factory unit, a move repeated again in 1997.
In late 1998, Jasun opened a second factory at Sittingbourne in Kent, the purpose of which was to solely manufacture air filters for the commercial kitchen ventilation industry. The Sittingbourne factory is believed to be the largest of its type in the UK and uses high spec. CAD technology to aid in the construction of all our Grease filters. Fully automated, the Kent factory produces filters for some of the UK’s leading restaurants and exports to others worldwide.
In 1999 Jasun became the first air filter company to sell it’s entire product range on-line at JFILTERS.COM.
The summer of 2001 saw Jasun acquire their third factory. Approximately half a mile from the Yeo Road location in Bridgwater and encompassing a total of 24,000sq ft, Riverside House. The Head office is now located at Riverside House, together with Activated Carbon and Panel Filter manufacturing and warehousing.
February 2005 saw the company release the long awaited follow up to the 1999 release of the "Interactive Filter Finder" CD-ROM. Building upon the previous version, the Air Filter Product Guide 2005 is an updateable, fully interactive catalogue and selection guide that can, once installed, be used to get quotations, create schedules and order filters all direct from the users desktop! The Air Filter Product Guide is completely free and is available for download or on CD-ROM.
