The OPTIFLUX 4000design meets the demands of a very wide range of applications in industriesincluding the chemical, pulp & paper, water and wastewater, minerals and mining, iron, steel and metals, pharmaceuticals and oil & gas industry.

The OPTIFLUX 4000 has a field proven and unsurpassed lifetime. Th
is is assured by the fullywelded construction, full bore pipe construction, absence of moving parts and wear resistant liner materials. Even for demanding applications in harsh environments or with aggressive and
abrasive media KROHNE’s OPTIFLUX 4000 can offer a solution.

Examples include water injection under high pressures (2500lbs), subsea installations, slurries with very high solids contents, alkaline solutions and acids, up to chemical dosing, bleaching,coloring, and black liquor in the paper industry. If required, a solution beyond our standardscope can be engineered. KROHNE has in house specialized know how on constructions, weldingand exotic materials.

For custody transfer applications, where the highest accuracy is crucial, OPTIFLUX 4000 has a wide range of certifications including OIML R49 & R117, MI-001 & MI-005

KROHNE LTD was founded in the UK in 1976 and is the group’s global centre of excellence for Coriolis mass flowmeter technology. Operating from two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Wellingborough, Northants, KROHNE Ltd manufactures the OPTIMASS range of Coriolis mass flowmeters and exports over 90% of its production. It is also the UK sales and service centre for the complete KROHNE product range. KROHNE Ltd offers the complete solution from assistance with product selection through to onsite commissioning.

KROHNE has also recently launched the KROHNE Academy Online; a free web based training tool dedicated to people that come into contact with process technology and measurement principles on a regular basis. The KROHNE Academy online provides independent product and non-commercial learning material. There are key courses on technology for suspended materials, vortex frequencies, ultrasound and mass flow, and there are also courses on basic principles in the area of gas measurement and leak detection in pipelines. The courses start with the measuring principles themselves and move on to interpretations, advantages and limitations, then applications and industries where the measuring principle is applied - each course covers all the relevant areas.
