Historically laser cutting experience within the group stems from the 1980’s and has since grown to include members from most regions of England. The benefit to Laserit clients is the extensive range of facilities and experience available. The combined capacity of the DSM group makes us the largest profiling based group of companies within the UK, enabling us to offer for a wide spectrum of requirements, from the largest plate size to the most demanding laser quality.

Laserit Ltd is an established Bristol based Laser profiling business offering complete metal cutting and fabricating solutions to our customers.

Founded in the 1980s, we have over 30 years of expertise in laser cutting and fabrication, becoming a vital supply chain partner for clients in Bristol, Gloucester, Newport, Cardiff, Swindon, and across the Southwest and South Wales. At Laserit, we focus on delivering exceptional value by ensuring high-quality parts and outstanding customer service. We achieve this by regularly reviewing our processes and investing in the latest technology to meet our clients' needs.

Our investment strategy allows us to effectively handle various projects, from one-off prototypes to small and medium batches, as well as large corporate contracts. In addition to laser profiling, we offer additional services including vibratory deburring, brushing, MIG/TIG welding, folding, rolling, and full fabrications. We can also manage polishing and coating through our industry partners.

Our Services Include:

Laser Cutting / Profiling
Laserit Ltd operates two 3015 6kW Lasers and uses the latest CadCam software, allowing us to respond swiftly and efficiently to client needs. We are equipped to cut a wide range of materials, including up to 20mm thick in mild and stainless steel and 15mm thick in aluminum. To reduce lead times, we maintain a comprehensive inventory of commonly used materials.

Bending
We enhance our laser cutting service with two CNC 7-axis press brakes: the Amada 170 Ton 3-meter and the 50 Ton 2-meter. These machines allow us to bend up to 15mm thick mild steel up to 1.2 meters long and 15mm thick stainless steel up to 900mm long. With over 20 years of data on bend allowances, Laserit has earned a strong reputation for precision in bending. Our experienced engineers can also re-engineer products to lower costs and streamline processes.

Fabrication
We provide ongoing services for MIG/TIG/ALU welding, rolling, Rumbling and full fabrication and assembly. Additionally, through our trusted suppliers, we offer powder coating, wet paint application, electrophoretic coating, zinc plating, and galvanising. We are proud to serve clients across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Aerospace, and Food industries.
