‘Strictly Sustainable’ proved to be a lively and stimulating topic yesterday (Weds 16th September) at Palmstead Nurseries Soft Landscape Workshop. There were divergent and passionate views expressed by Landscape Architects, ecologists and garden designers on the way forward for sustainable horticultural development with one speaker - Mary Reynolds - predicting that "nature is being pushed to the edge of ecosystem collapse" and that "our gardens have become nature’s last stand".

A newly published market study from BSRIA shows that large hyper data centres are changing the market for precision cooling and that over the next five to 10 years the use of traditional computer room air-conditioning (CRAC) units is expected to drop dramatically as data centres opt for a combination of free cooling, liquid cooling and chilled-water cooling.

BSRIA launches its findings of the global bathroom market (2015)
BSRIA has launched its findings of the Global Bathroom Market (2015) as part of its World Multi-Client Study. The key finding was that the global baths market is just over 24m units sold in 2014 and is predicted to grow at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of just below five per cent until 2019.
