180° Excavators

180° excavators are widely used through the building and grounds maintenance industry. Also known as backhoe loaders or backhoes if you were to ask any group what they could tell you about 180° excavators (backhoe loaders) a lot wouldn’t know what you were talking about. But show them a picture and almost everybody would recognise it.

Excavators are used for a wide variety of jobs and are often the only item of the heavy plant on your construction site. It is vital that your staff have completed an appropriate accredited 180° excavator training course before operating machines of this size, weight and power. Often the difficulty in finding suitably qualified staff. We can help solve this by running a 180° excavator training programme for a number of your staff on your site. This has the advantage of developing some friendly camaraderie between them whilst reducing the time taken.

360º Excavators

Excavators come in a wide variety of sizes. 360º Excavators are distinguished by their ability to revolve through a full 360º degree. The smaller excavators are called a mini-excavator or compact excavator and can access small paths as narrow as 70cm (28inches). Others can be very large weighing many tonnes.

Most are tracked and capable of traversing soft ground due to their low ground pressure. However, like all modern machinery, they require proper training to operate safely and efficiently. Our 360º Excavator courses are structured to quickly and efficiently get you or your staff fully qualified on one of the most common pieces plant in the UK.

With over 20 years’ experience providing CSCS and NPORS training to inexperienced plant operators, Machine Force Ltd also offers refresher training for more seasoned plant operators. Our training courses are certified by the LANTRA awarding body for our extensive range of plant operator training courses. We offer a dedicated training site based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent (near to East Sussex) where you and your colleagues can come and train on our machines. We have Excavators, Dumpers, Forklifts, Telehandlers and many more machines at hand. Additionally, we also have off-site training, where we can visit your site and train you on your own machines. This training option is available to those based in Kent, East Sussex and towns on the South East coast.
