Impact Moling
Impact Moling is a trenchless method used to install pipes, cables, and ducts underground without the need for continuous trench digging. Instead, pits are dug at intervals, and a pneumatic mole is lowered into the first pit. The mole then tunnels through the soil to the destination pit, creating a narrow borehole large enough for the utility to be pulled through. The mole, a steel cylinder powered by compressed air, hammers through the ground, significantly reducing installation time, surface disruption, and costs.
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
Directional Drilling is a method used to install utilities like water pipes, electric cables, and gas lines underground, reaching distances of up to 250 meters. Advanced equipment allows the drilling to navigate around obstacles or go deeper underground, eliminating the need for lengthy, disruptive trenches.
