Through commitment and a hard work ethic, we quickly developed our market share and were one of the companies that pioneered the use of GRP in the production of sectional tank panels.
We specialise in the manufacturing of GRP Water Storage Tanks, custom moulding, refurbishment and replacement tanks. Our One-piece tank range which we have been designing and manufacturing since 1968 are the ideal solution for storing water where access is not restricted, we cater for up to 24,000 litres, for all other sizes we offer a bespoke custom moulded service to suit individual requirements.
We manufacture Sectional tanks which are the perfect solution for storing larger volumes of water, we cater for tanks to hold up to 1,300,000 litres, and have exported these tanks all over the world. At Nicholson Plastics, we offer our clients end to end project management services from initial design to final installation.
We also manufacture Multi-Part Tanks which are robust and durable and can be assembled onsite, they come in 6 panels and are great for the storage of emergency water supplies. Specialising in all types of water storage solutions for potable and non potable water, from larger projects here in the UK to domestic water storage tanks.
Originally water tank panels were made by hand from liquid resins reinforced by glassfibre matting and for many years Nicholson Plastics manufactured large numbers of sectional panels by this method, installing these modern GRP sectional tanks all over the UK. In more recent times as part of a group of international companies Nicholson Plastics has adopted the widely specified Hot Press sectional panel while still retaining the facility to produce hand lay product at its Kirkfieldbank factory. This diversity of production technology and over 49 years’ experience serving the UK’s water storage needs puts Nicholson Plastics in the strong market position it enjoys today.
