We dealt with Scott Cattell and a couple of his associates in terms of raising finance to expand the business. As a FTSE250 Company we have access a number of lines of credit. However due to gearing, the rates offered from existing bankers were higher than anticipated. Deciding to look for outside consultancy I was recommended Overton's International. I found Scott and his associated very professional. He spoke in depth with the CFO and our auditors and suggested a couple of tweaks to the financial reporting of our Accounts. This opened up other funding avenues and we were able to raise our target amount with a lower coupon. I also deal with Overton's in a personal capacity where they have introduced me to EIS qualifying investments with substantial tax breaks.

I have conducted business with Scott Cattell the MD as he helped raise funds for our company on a two occasions. We have had a significant mid term note maturing and needed to raise funds quickly to meet this debt obligation. He was able to restructure our note obligations via stock loans. The rates were very competitive and he has been able to save our company a lot of future revenue. The only negative was that they were unable to lend at a significant LTV which resulted in us pledging more security than we wanted. Though I would definitely recommend Overton's International for debt restructuring.
