The most effective method of stump removal is through grinding, using specialised machinery that quickly and efficiently grinds stumps and roots into chippings while minimizing ground disturbance in the surrounding area. This prepares the ground for planting, turfing, or landscaping and helps control harmful fungi like honey fungus. At Plantscape Tree Services, we have a diverse range of stump grinding machines in varying sizes, weights, and power, making us well-prepared to handle stumps of any size, access, or ground conditions.

Our smaller, compact grinders allow us to access narrow gateways, enabling us to reach difficult and seemingly inaccessible stumps and roots. On the other hand, our power-assisted, tractor-mounted stump grinders are ideal for site clearances and woodlands, allowing us to remove multiple stumps quickly and efficiently.

For areas where ground disturbance is a concern, such as golf courses or parks, we utilise lighter, tracked machines to minimise any impact on the ground.
