PurePore GF gas cartridge filter range combines established depth filter technology, with a pleated high surface area construction, and sterile filtration to 0.02 micron in gas. These sterile gas cartridges contain pleated borosilicate glass fibre media, surface modified with fluoropolymer to providing hydrophobic properties, allowing operation where small amounts of condensate are present.
Flow rates of PurePore GF Gas are typically 2-3 times that of PTFE membrane filters, such as SurePore PTFE Gas and this that dramatically reduces cartridge usage and/or installation size impacting running and capex costs.

Why is a coalescing filter the best choice for compressed gas prefiltration? The key difference between a coalescing filter compared to a liquid particulate filter is that the coalescing filter as well as removing particulate from the gas stream it will also remove water (condensate), oil droplets and aerosols that liquid particulate filters will not.
