Industrial acoustics covers a wide range of requirements and specifications. We recognise that certain projects require greater flexibility, depending on whether your structure is static and permanent or mobile and temporary, such as noisy construction work, which may involve scaffolding. Therefore we offer both fixed and temporary acoustic solutions.

All of our industrial noise control products can be used as standalone items for specific applications, such as soundproofing noisy machinery, or be combined with other products, for example our acoustic doors and acoustic windows to offer a fully tailored industrial noise control service. We can also provide acoustic louvres, when soundproofing factory noise where ventilation is required, as is the case when sound-insulating generators, turbines and transformers.

For all of our industrial acoustic projects, QuietStar is able to offer a full turnkey service including project management, design, civil works and take on the role of lead contractor.

Acoustic Windows
By employing multiple panes of glass with thicknesses ranging from 6.8mm to 25mm, our soundproofing capabilities are significantly enhanced. We utilise a distinctive timber frame system that is decoupled from the host wall to reduce vibration transmission, ensuring an optimal acoustic seal for soundproof windows. Different pane thicknesses and varying air gaps are strategically combined for studio windows and glazed screens, tailored to the host wall's thickness, construction, and the desired level of sound insulation.

Audiology Rooms
At QuietStar, we provide a wide selection of both standard and custom audiology test rooms, standalone audiometric testing booths, and complete hearing testing suites. Our audiology rooms guarantee noise reduction levels from Rw 30dB to over Rw 65dB. Our in-house design team ensures top-quality acoustic performance, offering comprehensive design services and ongoing after-sales support.
