Cleckheaton Kestrels Reveal New Sponsor Goliath Footwear
Local firm Goliath Footwear Ltd have signed a sponsorship deal with the Cleckheaton Rugby Club to support the up and coming Kestrels team. Goliath Footwear has been known locally since 1880 when boots were produced at Brunswick Mills in Heckmondwike. In its remarkable history the company at one time made lightweight football boots for Stanley Matthews during his famous playing career.
