SBT Engineering services has been working in the supply and service of site work, on-site machining and workshop engineering support services for over 20 years, Founded in 1990, SBT are the North West’s largest independent specialists in the repair & refurbishment of industrial gearboxes & mechanical plant process equipment, provision of on-site services, fabrications & sub-contract machining,. We Provide support to a wide cross section of industries from the utilities & petrochemicals to food & pharmaceuticals, clients include but not exhaustive to; United Utilities Plc, Severn Trent Water Ltd, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Bristol Myers Squibb, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Astra Zeneca, Basell Plc (Formally Shell), McVities (United Biscuits), H J Heinz Ltd, Cemex Plc , Scottish & Southern Energy. In addition to industrial gearbox repair we are also able to refurbish many types of mechanical plant process equipment & provide a complete on- site service facility truly making SBT a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all your mechanical engineering requirements. As well as supporting our comprehensively equipped workshop our in-house machine shop may be utilised to manufacture general spares & components to your specific requirements from engineering drawings or samples
