During the late 1990's, along with Sedco Forex, Seaward Safety began creating our Safety Awareness System; a symbol based signage system to overcome cultural and language barriers, therefore eliminating 'sign blindness'. Instead of displaying multiple signs, one board highlights any hazard warnings, mandatory requirements and prohibited actions. Each symbol complies with both national and international regulations and is recognised around the world. Following it's initial success and after 20 years', our customers continue to adopt our SAS.
