Our Telford based business, established in 1971 specialises in CNC produced sub-contract sheet metal parts.
We have a long experience of working in all types of mild and stainless steel as well as aluminium. Our normal operating range is in sheet steel between 0.5mm and 6mm from our punching machines and up to 20mm from our laser machine.
The plant list details our extensive and modern machinery on a site area well in excess of 40,000
sq feet. All disciplines are available for sheet metal work, including guillotining up to 4 metres,
punch press, laser cutting, press brakes up to 4 metres, along with MIG and TIG welders, spot
welding, fastener insertion and many other ancillary types of plant. We also have our own powder
painting and degreasing plant.
Our multi-tiered management structure supports specialist managers who offer their own individual skills in such disciplines as quality, design and production. We always try to work actively with all our customers on VA and VE principles aimed at product development, and closely coupled with cost down initiatives. Secal has for many years adopted and embraced the rewards of a lean manufacturing culture, and is totally committed to its continuous improvement goals. Our planning system allows us to work within any MRP system and JIT programme.
We are able to work with all file formats such as dwg, dxf, sat or step, and ensure compatibility throughout our production departments with 3-D modelling wherever possible.
We are an ISO 9001 accredited company, and have been registered with BSI since 1987.
Secal Sheet Metal is a multi million pound business in its own right but we also work very closely with our sister company Secal Ltd, to offer a full sheet metal solution to our entire customer base.
