We offer weekly first aid courses in London and deliver onsite or in-house training across the UK. Our courses include regulated workplace first aid qualifications and specialised training in Basic Life Support and Medical Emergencies for Healthcare Professionals.

Whether you're looking to train a single individual or an entire team, need accredited certifications, or require customised training solutions, Simply First Aid has you covered.

Adult & Paediatric Basic Life Support
Healthcare staff are expected to possess the knowledge and skills necessary to recognise and respond to signs of clinical deterioration effectively.

While the primary focus is on preventing such deterioration, some patients may experience a decline leading to cardiorespiratory arrest, requiring prompt cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Early and effective CPR can be life-saving.

To ensure a reliable resuscitation response, healthcare organisations must establish a clear resuscitation policy and provide a robust resuscitation service. As part of their responsibility to deliver safe and effective care, these organisations must ensure their staff receive appropriate training and regular updates to maintain the resuscitation skills required for their roles.

First Aid at Work
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 mandate that all employers must ensure their employees receive prompt attention if they are injured or become unwell at work. This involves conducting a risk assessment, appointing an adequate number of first aiders, and providing them with appropriate first aid training.

Emergency First Aid
Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, employers are required to ensure that employees receive prompt care if they are injured or fall ill at work. This obligation includes conducting a risk assessment, appointing an adequate number of trained first aiders, and providing suitable first aid training.

Are you complying with your legal obligations?

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate first aid resources, facilities, and personnel to ensure employees receive immediate assistance if they are injured or become unwell at work.

What constitutes "adequate and appropriate" depends on the specific circumstances of your workplace, and you should conduct an assessment to determine your first aid needs.

  • At a minimum, every workplace must have:
  • A suitably stocked first aid kit.
  • An appointed person to oversee first aid arrangements.
Clear information for employees about the first aid provisions.
Remember, accidents and illnesses can occur at any time, so first aid resources must be readily available whenever people are at work.
