- Cleaning
It is recommended that you have your tennis court or sports surface professionally washed, every 1 – 2 years, depending on the surroundings of your sports court. If high trees and/or high buildings surround you, you may experience a high level of moss, mainly to the perimeters and corners. This can easily be eliminated by regular maintenance, including moss and weed killing. This process can take anywhere from 1-2 days per court depending on how thick the moss and dirt is on your sports surface. After the washing has been completed, you can use your courts straight away which minimises disruption.
- Paint and Bind
If the court has started to fret and the bitumen surface has started to break down, our Weathersafe process could be the answer. Weathersafe is a long lasting process that is half the cost of a resurface. Our unique binder will provide, on average 8-10 yrs protection. The porosity of the surface after our treatment is substantially improved. This binder process minimizes disruption, with the courts back in use within seven to ten days. Weathersafe is an accepted form of court renovation for over 170 local authorities. Once the binder has been applied, the court will require two coats of our high viscosity acrylic paint. The slip resistant grades are selected to suit the surface activity.
- Resurfacing
We find that over 70% of the courts we inspect can be remedied with our binder process. However, for those that have deteriorated badly our Macseal process is the answer. Our textured tarmacadam, produced and manufactured by Bardon Aggregates is called:- "Leisuretex” which is very free draining, safe, highly slip resistant and is extremely hard wearing. If you have an existing court which requires resurfacing, we would commence by spiking the surface at 450mm centres, backfilling with pea shingle for drainage purposes, then after various other processes, we would then lay a new 25mm thick Leisuretex open textured macadam.
Once the Macseal process has been completed and cured, approximately 2-3 weeks, the surface will be ready for the application of the binder, if required, and two coats of the textured acrylic paint. - Complete New Builds & Convertions
We offer a complete bespoke building service. This includes complete excavation of soil, either to take away or bank on site. We then construct the base of the tennis court, using either MOT type one or 28mm clean stone, base course and complete with tennis court topping to finish. This will include a full fencing specification, acrylic quartz sand paint, line markings with tennis posts and nets.
