Since 1942 with the invention of the Vibro-Energy® Round Separator, a device that has become the standard for both wet and dry particle separation, SWECO® has been on the leading edge of separation technology. As a business unit of M-I L.L.C., SWECO has the ability and strength of global corporation to take care of its customers anywhere in the world
Markets served
SWECO serves the food, chemical, minerals, pharmaceutical, paper, mining and many other industries with their wide array of products, each tailored with precise specifications for the individual customer.
Technologies
SWECO has the ability to separate materials down to fine and ultra fine particle sizes, depending on your application. SWECO’s use of high-speed vibration, ultrasonic technology, and centrifugal machinery enables it to effectively perform these particle processes for wet or dry applications.
Technical services
The most predominant service SWECO offers is in the field of service engineers, who on average maintain more than 20 years of experience. SWECO also offers its customers the convenience of field tests as well as on-site testing laboratories in Kentucky, Belgium, and Singapore, where full-scale tests can be run. Major products
SWECO offers a full line of separation equipment, including the Vibro-Energy Round Separator, high speed vibrating rectangular separators, GyraMax™ Gyratory Sifter, high-capacity decanting centrifuges, other particle sizing/separation equipment, as well as grinding mills and finishing mills.
The SWECO MX™ Round Separator is a new generation separator with design features to increase safety, provide a stronger construction, and allow for a more sanitary process. The totally enclosed weight guard prevents “reach-in” injuries, complying with CE Standards. Making use of the appropriate motor, the MX also complies with ATEX Standards. Angled support springs minimize aggressive vibration that typically occurs during shutdown of the machine. The extremely rugged construction of the MX utilizes conical construction rather than flat plates creating a more rigid geometric structure. The open base construction allows for cleaning underneath the unit, preventing dirt and product build-up. Additionally, the MX base design eliminates all gussets and external crevices where product can become trapped while allowing for total external polishing of the machine. Ultimately, this new design offers the same dependable service you expect from SWECO, innovators of vibratory separation since 1942.
The SWECO® GyraMax™ Gyratory Sifter can increase your plant’s productivity by reducing the costs associated with routine maintenance and unscheduled repairs. That means fewer production outages and fewer instances of pulling employees away from other duties for unscheduled maintenance. It all adds up to less frustration, greater productivity, and lower production costs. Screen changes are quick and easy, even for multi-deck screeners. With the GyraMax, you can change any screen at any level of the machine from either end without disturbing the other screens. You can also change screens through the top cover without lifting equipment. Additionally, with the GyraMax’s easy access doors it’s even possible to inspect for major problems without disturbing any of the screens or ball trays.
SWECO also offers a complete line of aftermarket parts and screens, including screen innovations such as the Fusion Screen designed to eliminate the use of adhesives, epoxy or silicone in screen manufacturing. Instead, the mesh is “fused” directly into the tension ring. Fusion Plus Screens are also available for those needing to meet FDA requirements. Other screening innovations include SWECO’s Supertaut Plus Screen, Sanitary Screen and Magnum Screen technology. The Supertaut Plus screen is designed with a pure white adherent which applies FDA approved chemistry with the durability to withstand caustic and steam cleaning, and severe environments. The Sanitary Screen utilizes a silicone substitute adhesive for screens used in any USDA and other sanitary applications. The Magnum Screen was developed for increased strength, significantly improving screen life over traditional screen designs.
The SWECO Commitment
