The manager at Thwaites was exceptionally professional, helpful, and diligent, demonstrating a problem-solving approach and focusing on addressing issues rather than creating unnecessary obstacles. In contrast, the technicians who serviced my car were less competent. They claimed my LED headlights were misaligned, pointing to the right and potentially blinding oncoming drivers. However, during a subsequent MOT test at the BMW garage, the head technician confirmed that the beam pattern was flat with no significant uptick on the right side, disproving the original claim. As Thwaites would not acknowledge their mistake, I had to pay an additional £54 for a retest at the BMW garage. Regrettably, due to this experience, I cannot recommend this garage based on the incompetence of its technicians.
