Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) can be used to accurately predict the behaviour of gases and fluids for rotating systems with both rotating and stationary components, for example mixers, motor rotors, bearings and bladed rotors such as compressors, turbines, pumps and fans.

For rotating machines, CFD offers significant advantages by providing:
