The first pieces carrying the name of Tudor Oak were produced in a garage, in Kent, in 1969 and over the following few years the brand became synonymous with high quality and meticulous attention to detail.
Within a few years, the company became known not only in Kent but also nationwide. In the mid-70s we started exporting to Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Norway.
Many fine English cabinet-makers started their career at Tudor Oak; some stayed with us and helped create numerous beautiful furniture pieces; others went on to form their own companies, using the skills and experience gained here. So it is fair to say that Tudor Oak spawned its own generation of fine cabinet makers, carrying the torch for the future. Our reputation is recognised across England and respected not only by our clients but by our competitors.
Our workshops are still based in Kent, in a picturesque village of Boughton Monchelsea, just outside of Maidstone. Beautiful wooden furniture in many styles, handcrafted by our skilled masters, has been serving generations of clients for over 45 years.
Our files contain more than 500 different designs and drawings, from classic oak side tables and sideboards to bespoke units to fit a home cinema and dining tables that are over 40 feet long. Our furniture and joinery are made to last and to serve generations.
