According to the EN14904 standards for indoor sports, there is a requirement for some impact absorption and deflection when playing multiple sports on a sports surface. This allows for player comfort, reduces the risk of injury and ensures consistency in the sporting performance.
There are a variety of ways to incorporate elasticity into a sports floor. Each is preferred by different sports and specific competition standards. TVS has systems for all 4 elasticity types and can tailor each project’s surface to suit their individual sporting, budgetary and performance requirements.

TVS Sports Surfaces

TVS Sports Surfaces are a market-leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-performance shock pad underlay systems that are highly durable for both indoor and outdoor applications. These can be utilised for athletics, basketball, football, hockey, tennis and MUGAs. We offer a vast array of different high quality floor types including polyurethane floors, timber floors, vinyl floors and more. We also specialise in various additional services including sports hall acoustics, sports hall surfacing and the explanation of elasticity.

TVS Gym Flooring

Providing high-end sports and fitness surfaces of use in commercial establishments, TVS Gym Flooring specialise in highly-resilient, durable and easily-maintained surfacing solutions. We supply and install these flooring systems for health clubs, weightlifting gyms, strength and conditioning facilities, public leisure centres, fitness studios and multi-use games areas. Some of these solutions include rubber gym flooring, free weights flooring, functional fitness gym flooring, sled lane surfacing, sprint track flooring, studio flooring and yoga flooring.

TVS Play Surfaces

Specialising in the supply and installation of state-of-the-art playground flooring, TVS Play Surfaces cater for numerous equipment, play and sporting requirements. Our bespoke interlocking tiles allow for speedy installation and complete freedom of design. These particular flooring types are available in a variety of thicknesses and can be utilised across numerous outdoor play areas. This flooring system is designed for a wide range of sports including volleyball, handball, basketball, tennis, recreational sports and more.

TVS Acoustics

TVS Acoustics specialise in various noise and vibration control solutions that can be utilised across multiple commercial facilities. Whether our clients are looking for structural, building, industrial or interior solutions, we as a company are guaranteed to have the perfect range of high quality acoustics and noise control options. We specialise in acoustics for ceilings, walls, cinemas, bowling alleys, staircases, landings, existing buildings, ships and yachts, schools, sports halls, offices and more. TVS Group

We used TVS Sports Surface products in the refurbishment of our fitness and S&C facilities at Sheffield Hallam University. We used the TVS SPORTEC Style Tile (T40) in both spaces to minimise noise and vibrations through the building in gym areas that have high throughput and large weights. After 2 years we have never had an issue unlike every other flooring solution we tried. They are also great people to work with.

We have been using TVS sports Surfaces for many years now during a rollout of budget gymnasiums throughout the United Kingdom. Having used several other manufactures in our quest to reduce noise and vibration the products supplied by TVS not only look great but are by far and away the most effictive at reducing the noise and vibration within the gym environment. They have always managed to keep up with our hectic rollout programme delivering materials often a short notice anywhere in the UK.
