Plastic Machining
Plastic machining is what we do. For plastic machining we use a variety of methods including CAD-CAM, 3D modelling, 4 axis machining, milling, turning, cutting, drilling, gears, bearings, bushes and close tolerance applications. Work is carried out by our highly skilled staff who produce only the highest quality products.
Milling
Our CNC mills are able to machine intricate, precise one-off parts, or batch quantity of thousands, both from plastic or aluminium. The strictest quality control standards are operated throughout every stage of manufacture.
Plastic Turning
Plastic turning is one of the key stages of the CNC plastic machining process. It is a form of machining used to produce rotational, asymmetric parts such as holes, threads and grooves. It is also ideal for prototyping several solutions. VAPLAS have recently expanded their machine shop from one NLX 2500 SY/700 Mill Turn machine to include two brand new DMG Mori CLX 450 Universal Turning Centres.
CNC Routing
The investment in CNC routers with full CAD-CAM operation and 4th axis units ensures a routing service which delivers a professional, prompt and precise service. VAPLAS are able to produce almost any cut shape from an extensive range of industrial plastics achieving an exceptional standard of finish and accuracy every time. Skilled machinists will work with the customer, assisting with problem solving during the design process and recommending cost saving options.
Machine Guards
VAPLAS manufacture machine guards to high quality standards which comply with industry regulations. Machine guards are used in printing, food processing, beverages, cosmetics etc. and are built to allow your employees easy access to conveyors and ensure a controlled & efficient working environment.
Fabrication & Tanks
VAPLAS provide complete fabrication and tank and offer all types of quality Thermoplastic Fabrications, PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Polycarbonate, Perspex and PETG. You can choose from a variety of materials and sizes for our fabrication and tanks as well as a wide variety of designs and installations for pipework and ducting systems. VAPLAS tanks are also perfect for chemical/water processing.
Plastic Supply
VAPLAS supply many types of Thermoplastic materials including Perspex, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Lexan, Makrolon, Petg, Vivak and many others. The friendly, knowledgeable team will be happy to advise on the most suitable grades for your particular application. Some plastics can withstand extreme temperatures & chemical reactions and are suitable for water, food and drink applications.
