Children's Charity gets some Loopy support
13 August 2012
A Lancashire-based children’s charity has been helped by LoopKeyrings.co.uk to get their message into the pockets of potential supporters after a generous donation to Wipe Your Tears.
The promotional gifts specialists, based in Leyland, near Preston, have given the Bolton charity over 500 printed loop keyrings which have been specially designed with the good cause’s contact details, to explain how recipients can keep in touch with the latest events and activities. The keyrings are going to be presented to guests at Wipe Your Tears’ next big fundraiser, The Tear Drop Ball, to be held at The Premier Suite, De Vere Whites Hotel, Bolton, on Friday 14th September 2012.
The event features a three-course meal, champagne reception, and entertainment from Brit and MOBO-award winning artist Lemar, alongside Britain’s Got Talent’s Les Gibson and more acts to be announced in due course.
Money raised from the glamorous do will go towards the charity’s principle aim of ensuring that seriously or terminally ill children are given something to wipe away their tears, whether that happens to be a vital piece of equipment, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, or simply by helping to make it easier for children to spend time with their families during their treatment.
Founded in 2003, the charity has since enjoyed support from corporations as notable as Manchester United, Marks & Spencer and Microsoft.
Steve Ward, MD of LoopKeyrings.co.uk, explained why his company have joined a growing list of backers, announcing:
“We are pleased to be able to help the charity with its mission to put smiles on the faces of sick children.
“We trust our loop keyrings will help raise both funds for, and awareness of, this good cause and hope that The Tear Drop Ball is a sell-out success this Autumn.”
