Doncaster. Service depot scoops two awards FAUN Zoeller UK has recently named our service and maintenance depot in Doncaster as the winner of our annual MOT (Ministry of Transport Annual Test Inspection’s) Pass Rate Award following another outstanding year at the centre.
We carry out regular performance reviews of all our depots and during 2011, thanks to the centre’s top quality maintenance service, all vehicles that were processed by the team passed their MOTs first time round.
It is the third consecutive year the site has achieved a 100 per cent MOT pass rate.
We currently have a UK-wide network of over 10 depots that work to maintain fleets of refuse collection vehicles (RCV), road sweepers and tractor trailer units on behalf of local authorities and their contractors.
Over 550 vehicles are serviced by our depots every year and across our depots the company currently has a 97.5 per cent first time MOT pass rate.
This is the second win for the Doncaster team as they have also been named as the winner of the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA) Roadworthiness award for the second year in a row.
The FTA award was given following independent inspections carried out over 12 months which demonstrated that Doncaster depot’s local fleets are maintained as efficiently as possible.
Mick Dowson, FAUN Zoeller depot manager at Doncaster, said: “Our vehicles are used day in, day out in tough working conditions making regular maintenance key to ensuring collection services aren’t disrupted.
“Winning both awards is a great honour and it is a testament to the team’s commitment to ensure the highest quality is consistently met.
