Lighting range offers optimum working conditions for laboratories

Adequate and appropriate lighting is a prerequisite for accurate and error-free working in any lab or test room. To meet this need, Waldmann Lighting has now introduced its complete range of area, workstation and task lighting to the UK market.

Waldmann’s laboratory lighting system includes three integrated elements that can be combined to ensure that the optimum illumination conditions can be provided for any specific environment. For detailed and precise working, Waldmann’s high-quality fluorescent luminaires give optimum lighting conditions specific to the task. They offer a wide range of options for light distribution, light intensity and colour temperature. The lights are also designed with metal components to withstand damage from heat sources such as Bunsen burners. Illuminated magnifiers are also available, with lighting characteristics that can be adjusted to give either contrast or shadow-free illumination. All these Waldmann task lights are designed to be completely glare-free, stable and easy to position. For workstation lighting, Waldmann offers both built-in system luminaires to fit most modular systems and height-adjustable, rise-and-fall pendant luminaires. Together, these can provide maximum flexibility for any work area. The lights feature high-efficiency compact fluorescent tubes with specially designed aluminised louvres to prevent direct glare. The key feature of these lights is their ability to provide continuous wide-area illumination of the working area, with the light emitted uniformly over the length of the unit. Completing Waldmann’s integrated lighting system is its range of wall-mounted, pendant and free-standing uplighters.
