Doors.Net Software
16 May 2014
Keri Systems has released an update to its Doors.NET Software, which brings a handful of new features as well as a new licensing structure to the software, making it more flexible and more affordable than ever.
With this release (v3.5.1.19), two versions of Doors.NET are available. Doors.NET Standard Edition remains our very powerful and most popular, yet free version of software. We are discontinuing our Eclipse software product name, which now becomes Doors.NET Professional Edition that has greater reader and I/O capacities and additional functionality when compared to Standard Edition. To compliment these two software versions, a number of optional modules are available to address specific requirements a customer may have.Among the features that ".19" brings are Cohabitation of PXL-500 hardware on the same installation of Doors.NET with Keri's NXT hardware and other 3rd party hardware sets that Keri supports, such as Assa Abloy Aperio, Ingersoll Rand/Allegion AD Series, and Mercury Security Corporation.
Also included is support for our GIOX Greater Input/Output Module that allows up to a combined 64 inputs outputs (in banks of 8 each) to provide up to a total of 256 Inputs/Outputs per NXT controller. This device is useful for elevator control in taller buildings as well as other intensive I/O linking environments.
