A unique, new gel for protecting electrical components has been launched onto the market and will improve rating beyond IP68
ISP, the leading manufacturer of resin filled Cable Jointing Kits for the Electrical industry, have launched a re-enterable non-toxic gel-system - "Gelseal", which has the ability to transform standard electrical enclosures up to and beyond IP68 rating .
The environmetally freindly gel is supplied in a self contained bag enabling safe and easy application rather than pouring from one bottle to another.
Previously unavailable, the non toxic gel pours easily and has a high level of adhesion and dialectric properties. Gelseal upgrades standard enclosures to beyond IP68 coupled with offering re-enterabilty and protection against water, moisture, dust and dirt- rendering it ideal for encapsulating, sealing, potting, insulating and shock dampening. It can also be used for application in trunking and pipes.
