New marketing appointment at Simple Lighting

Lighting stockist, Simple Lighting, supplying quality lighting products to domestic, wholesale and trade customers, has appointed a new Marketing Executive to create and promote content online and manage social media.

Kimberley Whitley, from Chester, has over 4 years’ experience working in the world of ecommerce digital marketing and joins Simple Lighting after working at Make It Cheaper in Bromborough.

Previous to this role, Kim worked for four years’ as a senior copywriter for a North West digital agency where she was responsible for managing all aspects of online content, creating engaging and valuable copy to benefit the readers.

Kim picked up a number of skills and provided her the opportunity to learn about best-practice technical SEO and how to create engaging content. Her skills were utilised and developed further in her role as in-house Content Marketer at Make It Cheaper.

Kim said she is “thrilled to be joining such a thriving company during a period of such significant company growth, with great plans for further expansion. The success of the company and its projections for the future made this the ideal time for me to join the company, to help develop the brand’s web presence and drive custom through the website.”
