Imperial College London
09 February 2015
“This project was part of an extensive refurbishment. Our key considerations were to provide a contemporary facility which could be used as a benchmark for all future public toilet spaces throughout the college. We are very pleased with the quality of the fittings and equally pleased with the finished product.” - Dan Curtis, the College’s Strategic Development Manager.
The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine is among the top universities in the world, ranking 3rd in Europe and 10th overall. The College was founded in 1907 and currently has over 14,000 full-time students from 126 countries.Situated in London’s South Kensington the College’s main campus recently underwent renovations. The project was part of an extensive refurbishment of the Sherfield Building, transforming an existing bar area into a restaurant with meeting rooms and public toilets.
Imperial College wanted to create sleek, modern washrooms that would handle heavy traffic. Venesta worked with the college to select products that would be fit for purpose and withstand the usage but also meet the college’s design criteria. Our flush-fronted range, Unity, was chosen. Its clean, modern design made it the ideal solution.
Mr Curtis was delighted with the product and service Venesta provided. He commented that products made in the UK with readily available parts was an important part of their selection process, making Venesta the ideal choice.
