National Lottery Funds Healthy Eating

The Wellspring Healthy Living Centre in Bristol has received lottery funding to improve the diet and cooking skills of local residents.
Bristol Primary Care Trust in association with centre manager Ian Lawry successfully applied for lottery funding to finance a neighbour hood project to improve the diet and cooking skills of local residents.
A purpose made kitchen was designed with Target Catering’s design team combining the latest i hob induction technology for cooking that is energy efficient and safe as well as very easy to use and keep clean.
The Wellspring Healthy Living Centre designed as an ecologically sound building with minimised Carbon Footprint. It also caters for the less able and disabled with special equipment designed by Target Catering Equipment to deliver the healthy living, health diet philosophy to reduce the burden on the National Health care services.
The facility is also dual purpose being used as a drop in café facility when not being used to teach. Target are continuously developing products at their Gloucester base and have a demonstration and training facility for anyone wanting to know more about the exciting new technology or to contribute new ideas to improve the health of the nation through education.
